FM Logistic is celebrating 15 years of partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim, a major player in the animal health sector worldwide and one of the largest suppliers of vaccines, anti-parasitics and therapeutic medicine. This event is an opportunity to highlight the success of this lasting and rare partnership in the sector as well as to recall FM Logistic’s expertise in health logistics.

A partnership with strong collaboration

Since February 2008, FM Logistic has operated on a platform south of Lyon, where it provides upstream logistics for the Boehringer Ingelheim sites located in Saint Priest (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), in Lentilly and soon in Jonage. Thanks to its experienced employees and its suitable facilities, FM Logistic plays an essential role in the Boehringer Ingelheim production chain by ensuring reception, storage, order preparation as well as transport.

FM Logistic carries out production activities according to the needs of Boehringer Ingelheim and intended for the preparation of culture media necessary for the manufacture of vaccines for veterinary use. Employees working in these rooms are subject to rigorous training and must respect good pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution practices. In 2024, FM Logistic will have a gray room.

FM Logistic and Boehringer Ingelheim extend their collaboration

This strategic step, part of the Greater Lyon project, aims to support the development of Boehringer Ingelheim through a rental site located in eastern Lyon, enabling to triple the storage capacities of its products.
